Hyderabad: Boy attacked by pack of dogs near Musi, dies

HYDERABAD: A 12-year-old boy died soon after being attacked by a pack of dogs on the banks of Musi in Kulsumpura on Thursday.
Police said the boy’s shirt was soaked in blood and he had multiple dog bite injuries. His body has been sent to Osmania General Hospital (OGH) to ascertain the cause of death.
This is the third case of a child being mauled to death by dogs, reported from the city this year.
In the latest incident the boy, Syed Sufiyan, a class 5 student, left his home at 10.30 am and was found dead at 11.30 am.
“Two persons walking near the Musi stumbled upon 15-20 dogs attacking the boy. They chased the dogs away, but the boy had died by then,” Kulsumpura inspector T Ashok Kumar said.
